A handmade card is always a good idea. There's something about giving someone a card that you know you made with your own two hands that gives you so much satisfaction. These cards are great for any occasion be it for a birthday, thank you card, or even for National Friendship Day (by the way it's August 3rd for next year's sake)! These adorable cards are not as time-consuming as you would think. Check out how to make them below!

All you need is:

2 sheets of hard paper (Dimensions: 9 in (length longways) by 5 in (height); something like cardstock would do, or use some from a sketchbook like us)!

Washi tapes of your choosing (use about 3-4 different designs for each card and get creative)

Fold the two pieces of paper "hamburger style" so that you form the card shape.

Apply the tape however you wish. We did not wrap the tape around the card, it is only on the front side. Here we did it horizontally so that you get a good view of the pretty tapes!

Voilà! You've got yourself some new gorgeous cards and in no time at all! Can you even believe that these beautiful creations literally take five minutes to make? It's a little bit mind blowing to us on this end. Hope you feel the same way and try to experiment with colors and patterns. Enjoy!
