DIY CUSTOM PROFILE ART WORK (LOOKS TOTALLY PROFESSIONAL!)

Whenever you get anything "custom made" there's always that connection that you make with the item. That feeling moves on to a whole different level with this DIY since you actually get to be hands-on with it. Profiles can be intimidating since they for one have to be perfect and two they have to look like the person you are trying to portray. Never fear the DIY queens are here! With this simple tutorial you can have a beautiful profile in no time at all, plus you can decorate with all kinds of fun stuff!

All you need is:

2 pieces of medium-sized white paper squares (we cut them out of watercolor paper)

1 sheet with the profile pictures printed to fit in the squares

2 different colors of acrylic paint

1 glue stick

Various decorations to spruce up the profile (pens, fake flowers, etc.)

Print out your profile(s) on a regular sheet of printer paper.

Trace the profiles out as precisely as possible (easy results come from against a glass window).

Cut them out so they have straight edges on the bottom.

Paint the profiles whatever color you want and let them dry for 10 minutes.

Once dry, glue them to the square sheets of paper in any position.

This is where you can get crafty and decide what decorations you want to add. We used Gold Sharpie, blue and purple Le Pens, and fake hydrangea flower petals.

Voilà! Here are the two of us in DIY profile art form. Hannah's on the left and Emma's on the right. This project makes a great birthday or surprise present or just for fun. The possibilities are endless so go on and create!
