3 AWESOME NO-CARVE PUMPKIN IDEAS

Can you believe it? Halloween is EXACTLY a week away and we have got a treat for you (we promise no tricks)!! These super easy no-carve pumpkins are a perfect way to add some Halloween pizzazz to your front door step without spending hours trying to precisely carve the old fashioned Jack-O-Lantern's face. Lucky for you all, limited supplies are neccessary. Look below to find out how to make these beauties!

All you need is:

Black, Gold, and White Acrylic Paint

A medium-sized square brush

A small-sized square brush

Moon stencil (any one you like on Google; print it on regular paper and precisely cut with an exacto knife)

Two circular sponge brushes in two different sizes (or you can just use a pencil eraser)

A pack of push pins

A pen

Baker's Twine (any thin string will do)

Three beautiful pumpkins!

Moon and Star Pumpkin: For this pumpkin grab your white and gold acrylic paint, medium-sized paint brush, round sponge brushes, and blue tape.

Tape your stencil to the pumpkin as best as you can. It's completely fine if it wrinkles.

Paint the moon white and the star gold. Once you take your stencil off, clean up the paint that may have leaked through with the round sponge brushes. Then, outline the moon in gold to make it pop. Go around the whole pumpkin with the stencil about three more times, and then voila, you've got your first pumpkin done!

Perfect Polka-Dot Pumpkin: This pumpkin is probably the easiest and quickest of them all! Get out your two different sized round sponge brushes and your black and gold acrylic paint.

You can get creative in your dot design choices for this pumpkin. We decided to do bigger gold dots and smaller black dots. But honestly, this is totally up to you and your pumpkin painting expert-ness. And that's it, now you have your second pumpkin (told you it was easy)!

BOO Push-Pin Pumpkin: This pumpkin is sooooooo much fun to make! Don't tell the other pumpkins, but they are also super cool too. ;) For this pumpkin grab your push pins, a pen, twine (not pictured) and a hammer in case a pin is giving you trouble.

Use a thin pen and draw a basic dotted outline of where you want your pins to go. Start to push your pins in following your outline. If your outline didn't really work out it's ok you can just go by trial and error. Next, take your twine and tie a small knot around one of the push pins. Then, do a loop-de-loop around the next pin, the pin after that, and so on until you've made it around the first letter. Make sure to go back to the pin across from the one in the middle to make the line in the B connect. Once you get back to your first pin, take out the first pin and stck it on top of the remaining string to secure it. Then cut any excess string remaining.

Repeat all the steps above for the remaining letters. Now you've got yourself an adorable looking BOO push-pin pumpkin!

Don't tell Mr. Jack-O-Lantern, but we think these no-carve pumpkins are way cooler and so much more hassle-free! Maybe you are a traditionalist, but we feel that these pumpkins win for amazingness. Try these out before Halloween next week to impress all of the trick-or-treaters! Enjoy! :)
