NATURAL MAKEUP TUTORIAL: FRESH SPRING LOOK

Spring is by far my FAVORITE time of year because of the nice weather and the lovely flowers. And of course, I can finally bring out all my spring and summery dresses! This makeup look is one of my favorites to wear during this season. It's simple, natural, and can be perfectly paired with any spring time dress! Enjoy :)

Makeup Used:

Start with a clean face.

I usually start out by applying my face makeup. Pick out your favorite foundation and brush/sponge. Start applying the makeup from the center of your face outward. Use as little of the foundation as possible; this look is meant to be super natural and perfect for everyday use!

Voila! Foundation done... time for concealer!

Use a concealer that is a couple shades lighter than your natural skintone to brighten up your face and to make you look more awake. Dab some under your eyes in a triangular shape and blend towards your nose.

So much brighter! Next, set the makeup so your face doesn't get oily throughout the day.

Use a translucent powder to set the concealer under your eyes to prevent creasing. Also, swipe some around your face to stay matte all day!

Time for eyes! Bring out some brushes, eye primer, and a neutral eyeshadow palette.

Apply some primer onto your eyelids. Then take a base shadow brush (or your finger) and pick up a matte cream eyeshadow. After you pack that on your eyelids, take a fluffy crease brush with champagne shadow and buff it into the outer creases of your eyes.

Time to line the lashline!

For this look, eyeliner seems a little bit harsh for me. Instead, I line my lashes with a pixel pointed brush and a matte brown eyeshadow. Make sure the eyeshadow isn't too dark of a brown. If this liner is too subtle for you, use a light brown pencil eyeliner and smudge out your line.

Now that the eyeshadow is done let's move on to the lashes!

Curl your lashes (optional) and apply your preferred mascara.

Love this eye look so much!! 2 more steps to go: brows and lips

Want your brows to be on fleek? ;) I suggest using a tinted brow gel/mascara and then filling in empty spaces with a brow pencil.

Final step! Lips :D Apply a neutral lip color. This one looks red but it's actually pink, similar to the natural color of your lips. I also added a nude pink gloss over it to complete the look.

And there you have it! This makeup look will make you look just as fresh as those spring flowers you see outside! :) I hope you like it and are inspired to try it out for yourself... au revoir!

xoxo,

Hannah :)
