LPC AT GENERATION BEAUTY!
Last weekend, Emma and I went to Generation Beauty, a beauty convention held by the monthly beauty subscription, Ipsy. We had such an amazing time, and we want to share our memories with you! Keep reading to hear about our fun experiences and more about what we saw at the convention.
The event was held in a large tent at LA Live. Everyone there was so nice. They even gave us boxed water and a free Gen Beauty tote when we signed in! That nice gesture got us super excited, but once we walked into the tent, we were blown away!
There was an enormous amount of people there. In total, there were 30 brands, a booth for each. The brands (Bare Minerals, Chella, NYX, and more) showcased their new products and gave us a taste of what they're all about. Some booths offered services, like hair braiding or makeup applications, and others passed out samples. We immediately directed ourselves to the Chella booth where they gave us a free brow application with a sample of their brow highlighter! I can truely say that our brows were on fleek after they worked their brow magic ;)
There were also many beauty gurus and makeup artists there. Some of the gurus there have been huge inspirations for me for a while. We met some amazing women, including Ingrid Nilson! That was probably the highlight of my whole time at Gen Beauty :)
