NATURAL MAKEUP TUTORIAL: SUMMER EDITION
Hey guys! Can you believe it's already August?! Summer has gone by so fast and we're so sad to see it go when September comes along :( This natural makeup look is perfect for the summertime. We used light shadows and no harsh colors to make this wearable and easy to apply. If you want a natural look with a little bit of glam then keep reading :)
Start with a clean face. Now's the time to apply your face makeup.
Next I used the Bare Minerals 5 in 1 BB advanced performance cream eyeshadow to prime the lids. I feel this is the perfect base shadow color and it ALWAYS stays in place! It also has SPF 15 (perfect for summer :) )
I just dabbed it onto the lid to prime for the rest of the eyeshadows.
Next I'm taking the Ofra eyeshadow and highlighter in Bliss and the mini Lorac Pro palette in the shade Nude.
I applied Nude lightly all over the lid and through the crease and then dabbed Bliss just in the center of the lid.
Next I'm taking Undone from the Naked 2 Basics palette for eyeliner. I like this color for eyeliner because its not completely black so it's not too harsh of a liner for the summertime.
Using an angled eyeliner brush, line a thin line on the lash line with Undone.
Next is brows and lashes! We're using Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara from Tarte and Maybelline's Brow Drama in Deep Brown.
Lightly apply the brow mascara to your brows. If too much product transfers to your brows, use a spooly to comb it through. Then apply mascara.
Now I'm using the Tarte Amazonian Clay waterproof bronzer in Park Ave Princess.
Bronze up those cheeks! This will give you that sunkissed look ;)
Final step... LIPS! We're using two products: Bobbi Brown's lip color in Sandwash Pink & a Bite lip gloss which doesn't have a color name on it! sorry :( It's a pinky nude gloss.
