Hello everyone, we are so excited to finally show you this little project that we've been working on for awhile! Wintertime is seriously one of our favorite seasons because if we're being completely honest, sweater weather is better weather. The only problem is that in Los Angeles, winter practically does not exist. Occasionally we get some rain and wind, but there is no snow anywhere to be seen! Even though we don't have what most people consider a "real winter," we do have plenty of stores that carry cooler-weather clothes. With that being said, we're going to show you some of our picks from the stores we love in outfits we have styled as inspiration for your winter wardrobe! Lets get started. (PS: there's a video too!)

Starting off with Hannah we have more of a warmer look. Seems weird to be wearing a dress in the winter to you? Well as we said before, winter here isn't exactly always cold. ;)

Dress/Urban Outfitters; Backpack/Fjallraven Kanken (found at Nordstroms); Shoes/Adidas Top Ten (not pictured)

This outfit is what we've labelled as the perfect look for "brunch with the girls" or even "casual shopping but you want to look super cute." We put a lot of thought this outfit as you can tell and it's a little warmer than the other (especially if paired with a jean jacket). :)

Sweater/Madewell; Jeans/Flying Monkey (found at Bloomingdale's); Shoes/Adidas Superstars; Purse/Marc by Marc Jacobs (found at Bloomingdale's); Necklace/Soto

Alright, back to the whole LA "swinter" idea, here's an outfit meant for a sunnier day. But come on, who doesn't love overalls (more on that later).

Overalls/Topshop; Shirt/Brandy Melville; Shoes/Doc Marten's (found at Urban; not pictured)

Okay at this point you must be thinking "are they crazy, a DRESS in the winter???" We promise you that what they say about the west coast is true, the sun never truly leaves. Plus, we know you have got plenty of holiday parties and casual get-togethers to attend that you definitely need a dress for. What's perfect about this one is you can totally dress it up or down depending on what you need. Boots= causal, heels=party ready, see?

Dress/Hardwear; Boots/Silence + Noise (found at Urban)

Look a cozier outfit! We promise that we do own SOME warm clothing. This outfit is super casual, but not too casual so it's perfect for everyday.

Sweater/Urban Outfitters; Jeans/American Apparel; Boots/Zara

Told you there would be more on those overalls! Well, this variation is much warmer and it doubles as a night time look. With a nice winter coat, you'll be all cozied up and super stylish for your night on the town!!

Overalls/Madwell; Shirt/Soto; Boots/ Silence + Noise (found at Urban); Bralette/Free People

Ah here we go! The final look has come. This is the ultimate party dress for all of your holiday soirées. It's simple enough not to be flashy, but it definitely will not go unnoticed. Hannah chose to pair this LBD with a jean jacket and some pretty blue heels because she's a super cool-girl. Well played, Hannah. :)

Dress/Urban Outfiitters; Jacket/Ralph Lauren Sport; Heels/Urban Outfiiters

Ta da!!! That is our complete lookbook for Winter 2015. We had SO much fun writing this post and editting the wonderful video that pairs with it. Now you can check out the action in our short outfit compilation video below!

xoxo,

Emma and Hannah
