EMPIRE STATE OF MIND

Bonjour lovelies! This spring break, I went on a 6 day trip to the Big Apple! We went on a few college tours, visited some family, and did plenty of shopping on 5th Avenue and even ventured to SoHo. Not only that, but we also went to some pretty famous places in NYC that I had never been to before, and I took my camera along with me!

Believe it or not, I've never been to Central Park, so we stopped there first. Now that I've seen it in all it's glory, I'll be sure to go back every time I'm in the city! We took a carriage ride around the park and it was amazing! The nature looks so beautiful and serene amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.

The next stop was super impromptu but TOTALLY worth it! That morning, we decided we wanted to go to SoHo for some shopping. Immediately after that decision, Emma texted me saying that Glossier (!!!!!!) opened a showroom in the GLOSSIER PENTHOUSE for that day only IN SOHO!!! It was a perfect coincidence! Anyways, I was so lucky that I actually got to go to their beautiful (and very aesthetically pleasing) showroom that day. I bought a couple products there too... so look out for some product reviews in the future ;)

Later that day, we went out to dinner for some amazing pizza at Serafina. On the way back to our hotel, we stopped by Momofuku for a sweet treat. If I had to choose only one thing off the menu, I would definitely go for the birthday cake truffles

Next stop: the Highline! This beautiful linear park was recently constructed on an elevated section of a disused New York Central railroad in Manhattan, and it's definitely one of the coolest places I've ever been to in the city! From this spot, you get the best view of the Hudson river. This definitely made it onto my list of sites I have to see every time I'm in town.

Overall, this was one of my favorite trips to New York! I got to visit many new places and experience so many new things. I'm so glad I got to share some of them with you all!
