10 PRODUCTS TO ENHANCE YOUR SUMMER BEAUTY ROUTINE
Hello everyone! Today I wanted to share with you a few makeup and skincare products that have saved my skin this summer! I know summer is almost over :((( but these products are still great to incorporate into your beauty routine year round. Let's get into it!
You all know how much I love this mask from my Glossier face mask duo post! Mega Greens' benefits are very helpful during summertime for many reasons. During this time of year, you're exposing your skin to chlorine in pools, dirt, and excess oils because of the hot weather. This mask's detoxifying properties will definitely help give your skin a refreshing reboot after a day of summer fun.
FAB's Red Clay Deep Cleanser is another great product for purifying your skin after a long day! This one can be used daily and is especially great for oily skin.
Another great skincare product for the summertime is an illuminating or brightening one! Sephora's Pearl sheet mask has been working perfectly for me recently. Everyone loves that bright, glowy, look during the summer, and this can help you achieve just that!
SPF is a MUST in the summertime, and honestly, year round. Murad's Invisiblur Perfecting Shield is my go to for under-makeup sun protection. Plus, it blurs out your pores! I like to use it as a primer, or as my sun protection on a no-makeup day.
Quick summer makeup tip: Try switching your regular foundation to a BB/CC cream or a tinted moisturizer during this time of year. Letting your skin breathe is the best feeling, especially when it's 100+ degrees outside. This is another foundation alternative-- Boscia's BB Cream! This is such a great option for people who need SPF and light coverage.
Supergoop's setting mist is one of my holy grail products for summertime! It completely sets makeup, controls excess oil, and provides SPF! It solves all your shiny, sliding makeup problems caused by the heat. Plus, it smells amazing... which is always a nice bonus for setting sprays. :)
Looking to enhance your summer tan? Then serum bronzers are the perfect product for you! This BareMinerals one is my go to. It blends seamlessly and adds the perfect amount of definition to the sides of your face. Plus, it has a gorgeous dewy finish.
Glossier's Topaz Haloscope is another great option for that sunkissed look! It's super easy to put on, and your cheekbones look hella bomb. I know I said a few bad things about this product when I reviewed it, but I'm here now to formally apologize. I gave it a second chance a few days after that post, and I haven't put it down since!
And last but not least, Clean & Clear's oil absorbing sheets. These guys are total game changers. Throughout the day when I'm feeling oily, these babies blot all that nasty excess oil right off my face without taking any of my makeup with it!
