YOU'VE GOT GOOD JEANS: 8 PAIRS THAT YOU WERE BORN TO WEAR
A good ol' pair of blue jeans can pull together just about any outfit. Whether you're a traditionalist or a risk-taker, jeans are a wardrobe staple. I have all kinds of jeans in my closet that range from pure blue denim to maroon to army green. Practically every outfit I wear includes a pair of them. Denim is also a universally flattering fabric that comes in a wide variety of cuts which makes buying them an incredibly exciting and personal experience. Finding a nice fitting pair of jeans that makes you look and feel amazing is like nothing else. Recently, jeans have been getting more attention on the fashion scene in more creative and elaborate ways than ever. I've rounded up 8 of my favorite traditional and nontraditional jeans I've seen around. The order of the jeans starts on the top left and corresponds with a number below. 1. This sweet pair of boyfriend jeans from Madewell is the perfect blend between tomboy coolness and slim cut skinny jeans. I love cuffing my jeans, and I have a pair of these babies in a darker wash that I wear ALL the time.
2. I'm in love with the high-low hem of these black jeans from Flying Monkey. I can picture wearing these with my favorite Chelsea boots and crazy patterned socks which would be able to peek through the gap in the jeans. :)
3. Another trend I'm a big fan of currently is patchwork denim since it makes wearing jeans seem a little more unexpected and chic. A nice graphic tee would complete the look, don't you think?
4. My favorite new style of jeans has definitely got to be the embroidered look. I love how the intricate detailing of all the stitching looks going down the length of the leg. It adds just the right about of pop to an outfit.
5. This pair from Vigoss is subtly edgy with the white frayed detailing going down the seams. The faded wash makes this pair of skinny jeans also feel very vintage.
6. The quintessential "blue jean baby" look comes with a classic pair of dark wash jeans. This cropped pair from FRAME is on sale right now (!!!) so I would recommend snatching a pair before they're gone. :)
7. Zara's take on the embroidered jean involves florals and a gorgeous bird. What more could one want from a pair of jeans?
8. Madewell is at it again with the cool kid jeans. I love the ripped details, light wash, flared cut, and frayed hem.
